About Martha
Hi, I’m Martha! I’m a qualified and experienced teacher with a real passion for helping children learn and grow.
I graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2021 and have since worked in SEN schools, supporting children with a wide range of individual needs. My experience has particularly focused on understanding each child’s individual goals and finding ways to support children who may experience communication barriers or learn in different ways.
I believe every child is unique, and I’m passionate about creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment where children feel comfortable, confident and excited to learn. I love making lessons fun and engaging while adapting my approach to suit each child’s individual needs.
Outside of teaching, I love spending time with my friends and my dogs! I bring the same enthusiasm, patience and positivity into my lessons and would love the opportunity to help your child develop their skills and confidence.

I offer personalised online lessons for primary-aged children, with a focus on English, phonics, early reading and confidence building.
As an experienced teacher, I understand that every child learns differently. I tailor each lesson to your child’s individual needs, whether they are developing their phonics knowledge, beginning to read, working on their English skills or simply need a little extra confidence and encouragement.
My lessons are fun, interactive and age-appropriate - using games and activities to keep children motivated and engaged.
Whether your child needs support with their schoolwork, wants to strengthen their reading / phonics skills, or would benefit from some extra 1-to-1 attention, I would love to help them enjoy learning and reach their potential.
