I hold a PhD in Chemistry, an MSc in Chemistry, and a BEd in Education, with over 14 years of experience teaching chemistry and science at every level, from primary through Leaving Certificate and into third-level and IB curricula.
My approach is student-centred: I identify exactly where a student struggles, break concepts down with clear explanations and practical examples, and build understanding step by step rather than relying on memorisation. I adapt my style to each student, some need structured repetition, others benefit from a more conceptual approach.
Lesson length is flexible and can be tailored to the student's needs, with homework set between sessions to reinforce learning.
I teach students of all ages, from primary through Leaving Certificate, as well as college-level and IB students, in person in Dublin or online.
