I am a retired high school teacher and university lecturer. I am well qualified with 30 years teaching experience. I have taught in several countries and am highly culturally literate. Being a teacher is a significant aspect of my identity.

Private tutoring allows for a relationship to develop between teacher and student. This relationship is one of familiarity and trust that engenders effective learning. Students, especially shy, sensitive ones, perform better in an atmosphere of low anxiety.
My lessons are typically one hour long and are organised to address all macro skills- reading, writing, listening and speaking. My experience is with high school students and adult learners. I taught online for two years during the pandemic via zoom sessions.
