1. My Techniques & Methods
I focus on simple explanations, real-life examples, and personalised guidance.
My approach includes:
Breaking complex English concepts into easy, understandable steps
Using interactive practice (speaking, reading, short exercises)
Identifying each student’s strengths and weak areas early
Providing structured notes and quick revision tips
Regular feedback to help students improve continuously
Teaching grammar through usage, not memorisation
Strengthening writing skills with models, templates, and examples.
I adapt my teaching style based on whether the student needs:
School exam support
English for daily communication
Academic writing for university
Interview or study-abroad preparation/tests
2. Usual Structure of My Class
Each session usually follows a clear, consistent format:
Warm-up (2–3 minutes): quick recap or practice sentence
Concept explanation (5–10 minutes): simplified teaching of the day’s topic
Guided practice (10–15 minutes): exercises, speaking prompts, reading tasks
Student application (5–10 minutes): independent practice with my guidance
Feedback + corrections (5 minutes): personalised suggestions for improvement
Homework or mini-task (optional): to strengthen learning between classes
This structure keeps students engaged and ensures steady progress. (Extra time will be given based on the requirements of the learner).
3. What Makes Me Different as a Teacher
UK degree holder with first-class honours: I bring strong grammar, vocabulary, and academic writing standards used internationally.
Friendly and supportive: I create a comfortable environment for high-school students who feel shy or nervous speaking English.
School-exam focused: I help with essay formats, comprehension, grammar accuracy, and board exam patterns.
Strong academic guidance: For students applying abroad, I help with statements, interviews, and English readiness.
Personalised plans: Every student gets a study plan based on their level, goals, and school requirements.
Progress tracking: I monitor improvements in fluency, grammar, vocabulary, and writing week by week.
Clear explanations: Perfect for students who feel overwhelmed or confused by textbook language.
4. Who My Classes Are For
High-school students (Classes 8–12)
CBSE, ICSE, State Board, Cambridge/IB learners
Foreign university aspirants (IELTS, academic writing, personal statements, interviews)
College students needing better English for assignments
Adults who want to improve communication and fluency
Whether a student is preparing for exams, applying abroad, or simply wants to speak English confidently, I tailor every lesson to their level and goals.
