About Heather
Hi! I’m a qualified English teacher with just over 12 years’ experience, and I love helping adults feel more confident when they speak English. I work with people from all over the world – helping with speaking, interviews, work-related English, and exam prep like IELTS or Cambridge. I've lived in Spain and speak Spanish, as well as having an understanding of French, Italian and even Scottish Gaelic. My lessons are relaxed, practical and built around you – your goals, your level, and what you actually need in real life. If you’re looking for a teacher who’s supportive, experienced and easy to talk to, I’d love to help! And I offer a free first lesson of 30 minutes.

Hi! I'm an experienced English teacher who loves helping adults feel more confident, fluent, and natural when speaking English. Whether you're preparing for a big interview, working in an international team, or just want to stop translating in your head – I’m here to help. My lessons are friendly, practical, and completely personalised to your goals. I use conversation, real-life topics, and useful materials (like articles, videos, or role plays) to help you speak and understand English more easily. If you need help with grammar, vocabulary, or pronunciation, we’ll cover that too – but always in a way that makes sense for you. Most lessons are 50 minutes long, and I work with adults from around the world – usually at intermediate to advanced level (B1–C2). I also help with: Business English and workplace communication Job interview prep and CV support IELTS or Cambridge exam preparation Academic and professional writing I’ve been teaching for over 12 years, and I know how to make learning feel enjoyable and useful at the same time.
