About Siyana
I'm incredibly passionate about English literature. From Shakespeare's poems to Rupi Kaur's, the evolution of creative writing is an area of English that I've enjoyed exploring my entire life. The ability to convey what you mean through your words effectively is the art of being proficient in English. This is an art I teach to my students.

I've been a teacher and tutor for over seven years, and have had a multitude of students who are incredibly thankful for the improvement in their English language skills. My lessons typically run for forty five minutes. They are innovative and I love to build a rapport with all my students.
Teaching Method:
I use Zygotsky's zone of proximal development, as well as inquiry based learning, to ensure that students' are connecting their real world experiences with their current knowledge. For students who need to revisit forgotten or misunderstood content, I use scaffolding techniques to build on what students' already know.
Age Range for Lessons:
I've tutored selective students, students who are struggling with creative writing and need motivation, students who are dyslexic. Students who come into the country and have no understanding of the English language. My lessons are catered to support the individual I'm teaching, so all ages are welcome!
