Hello, I’m Saarah!!
A trainee English teacher with a BA (Hons) in English Literature from Nottingham Trent University and QTS achieved through the Bluecoat SCITT programme. I specialise in English Language and English Literature from Key Stage 3 through to GCSE level, helping students build confidence, improve their analytical skills and achieve their academic goals. My approach combines high expectations with patience, encouragement and personalised support, ensuring that every student feels comfortable asking questions and developing their understanding. As a practising secondary school teacher, I have extensive experience teaching a range of texts, including Shakespeare, poetry, modern prose and GCSE examination skills. I am particularly passionate about helping students develop their essay writing, reading comprehension and exam technique. I believe that learning should be engaging and accessible to all students. Whether your child needs support closing knowledge gaps, boosting their confidence or striving for top grades, I tailor lessons to their individual needs and learning style. I look forward to helping your child succeed and discover a greater enjoyment of English.
