I am an English specialist and qualified English teacher (BA, MA, PGCE), with over 15 years' experience. My roles have included Teacher of English, Head of Department and GCSE Examiner for various examination boards. I have taught both English Language and Literature extensively and have a passion for my subject which I've been told (by students) comes across when I'm teaching!

I am an English specialist and qualified English teacher (BA, MA, PGCE), with over 15 years' of experience. My roles have included Teacher of English, Head of Department and GCSE Examiner, for various examination boards. I offer both English Literature and Language tutoring, at GCSE, using methods to engage students, improve their confidence and achieve exam success! I offer both online and small group tutoring, depending on the individual student's preference. One-to-one allows for a specifically tailored approach, but small group sessions also offer students the opportunity to work collaboratively and engage in wider discussion. Online tutoring has become an effective method for online teaching and learning and is often the preferred choice of students. Alongside the benefits of online learning tools, it is a far more convenient, time-efficient and economical option. Lessons are typically 1 hour sessions, although other options are available. I love combining my teaching expertise and passion for my subject, to create engaging lessons, which are proven to get results and achieve exam success!
