Golden rule in teaching is moving from what learners know to what is new. so I link new knowledge with prior knowledge.
I create a stimulating learning environment with good learner participation.
I also use direct instruction, group teaching, look and say, listen and say, effective questioning technique, reinforcing/consolidating newly acquired knowledge/skill.
Consistent positive feedback motivates learners with different abilities.
Appropriate use of teaching and learning resources also enhances grasping of new concepts.
