I am a qualified English (PGCE 14+) teacher with a BA in English Literature and Language. I have worked mostly in Higher Education supporting learners on a 1-2-1 basis with their literacy and academic writing skills. I have worked with a diverse range from students from teenage Chinese learners to mature Nigerian gentlemen.
I can teach GCSE, A-Level English and support Bachelor degree students with their studies. I am also able to aid with academic writing skills, conversation English and informational writing.
I am a mature and independent worker with a great respect, not only for education but for the English language. There is arguably nothing more important than the written word and being able to articulate ideas and thoughts to peers. I want to be able to help people from all manner of background with these goals, so that they can succeed in the same way I have.
