About Laura
Qualified English Literature and Language teacher with secondary teaching experience producing outstanding results by tailoring my resources to the individual and finding creative solutions to learning barriers. Experience working with a range of SEN needs including learning, emotional and behavioural. (2.1) BA (Hons) English Literature with French providing tutoring in Halton and Merseyside areas both in person and online. I have experience teaching secondary English language and Literature to AQA and Edexcel specifications and I am also available to tutor for GCSE French and Psychology.

Differentiation to the individual is paramount in my lessons. I will ensure all resources are crafted to suit each student and target specific needs of the students. I include various elements of stretch and challenge into my lessons to ensures students are pushed to achieve further and can feel a sense of pride in their accomplishments. I aim for compassion and understanding at the forefront of my teaching, providing a safe space for students to learn and develop.
