About Jordan
My name is Jordy, and I live right here in the beautiful Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia.
My passions in life are travelling, surfing and teaching, which have together brought me to amazing places and allowed me to work with some fantastic people.
I embarked on my teaching career 5 years ago, and I have loved it ever since. I enjoy the diversity that the job brings, as it combines my love of reading literature and history with the ability to meet and work alongside so many people from all walks of life.
In everything I do, I like to make it excitable and fun, and my classes are no different.

Hello and welcome!
I am a qualified high school English and History teacher running 1-2 hour online (or in person) tutoring services for school students.
In addition to providing an upbeat and encouraging learning environment, my personal teaching philosophy is centred around developing a strong understanding of my students' interests and learning profile, which is subsequently used to facilitate learning experiences where knowledge is 'discovered' in a way that makes sense to the learner.
I am fully available 7 days a week, so please inquire about organising a time that is suitable to your schedule.
