About Catherine
I am a qualified intermediate and senior phase teacher (grades 4-9) in both English and Social Science (Geography and History) and also have all three of my Psychology Levels. I have taught in various schools and in varying age brackets since 2018 and in September 2020 started private tutoring and facilitating.

When teaching, I strive to find correlation between the work at hand and life around us as I believe people learn better when they themselves understand work more in their own contexts. I firmly believe in unpacking work thoroughly and commencing a lesson by stimulating prior-knowledge in order to test where the learner's knowledge lies. From there onwards, I work with where they are and build from there. I am an energetic and creative person so working with me is never bland!
