About Alexander
I have worked with children for the last 9 years and have been tutoring extensively for the past 7. I have taught children aged 5 to 18 and offer expert support for both Independent Schools admissions tests and public examinations. I have helped students gain places at top schools including St Paul’s Boys, NLCS, Highgate, St Mary’s Ascot, and Tonbridge and at medical schools including King’s College London and Barts. Current pupils of mine attend other leading institutions such as Harrow, CLGS, South Hampstead High School, Eton, and Westminster. I have taught several international students based in Dubai, Moscow, Istanbul, Beijing, and Hong Kong. I also regularly teach medical students in classroom and clinical settings. I am fully DBS certified and registered with the update service.

I tailor each lesson to the individual student, considering their unique strengths, weaknesses, and learning style. My goal is to build their confidence by celebrating their progress and providing constructive feedback. I also challenge them by introducing thought-provoking exercises and encouraging critical thinking. I foster a two-way dialogue, inviting students to actively engage with me during lessons rather than letting them passively absorb information.
