About Marcelina
Hello! I'm Marcelina, a passionate, dedicated, and professionally trained Chemistry teacher with a Bachelor of Science in Education (B.Sc. Ed.) in Chemistry and five years of teaching experience.
Teaching is more than just a profession to me; it is an opportunity to inspire curiosity, build confidence, and help students discover their academic potential. I genuinely enjoy seeing students move from struggling with difficult Chemistry concepts to understanding them confidently.
I believe every student can succeed with the right guidance, encouragement, and learning environment. This belief inspires me to approach teaching with patience, creativity, enthusiasm, and a genuine commitment to each student's progress.
As an educator, I value professionalism, effective communication, and continuous improvement. I take time to understand my students' strengths and challenges, ensuring they feel supported, respected, and motivated throughout their learning journey.
My greatest satisfaction comes from seeing my students develop confidence, improve academically, and discover that Chemistry can be both interesting and enjoyable.
I look forward to helping you achieve your learning goals and making Chemistry a subject you can truly understand and appreciate!

Chemistry doesn't have to be difficult! My goal is to make every lesson simple, engaging, and enjoyable while helping students develop a strong understanding of chemical concepts.
As a qualified Chemistry educator with a B.Sc. (Ed.) in Chemistry and five years of teaching experience, I use a student-centred approach that focuses on understanding rather than memorization.
My Teaching Methodology
I begin by assessing each student's current knowledge, learning challenges, and academic goals. I then develop personalized lessons using clear explanations, real-life examples, visual illustrations, interactive discussions, and step-by-step problem-solving techniques.
My lessons cover Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Chemical Bonding, Stoichiometry, Acids and Bases, Electrolysis, Chemical Equilibrium, and other essential Chemistry topics.
Lesson Duration
Each lesson typically lasts 60 minutes, with flexibility depending on the student's learning needs. Lessons include explanations, guided practice, questions, and feedback to reinforce understanding.
Who My Lessons Are For
My lessons are suitable for junior and senior secondary school students, beginners, and students preparing for Chemistry examinations such as WAEC, NECO, and JAMB. I also support students who want to strengthen their foundational Chemistry knowledge.
I create a friendly and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning at their own pace.
Whether you want to improve your grades, prepare for examinations, or simply understand Chemistry better, I am committed to helping you achieve your learning goals with confidence.
