Hello! I'm a friendly, enthusiastic and fully qualified primary school teacher with four years of experience teaching the British curriculum in outstanding schools, alongside three years of tutoring experience prior to gaining my teaching qualification.

I specialize in Primary English and Mathematics, with a strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and the skills required for academic success, including 11+ preparation.

I wholeheartedly believe that every child has the potential to achieve their very best when given the right guidance, encouragement and opportunities. I am passionate about education because I recognize that learning goes far beyond the classroom. I follow the ‘I do, We do, You do’ teaching model, beginning with clear teacher modeling, progressing to guided practice and gradually building pupils' confidence to work independently. I incorporate high-quality questioning, regular retrieval practice and purposeful repetition to strengthen understanding, develop long-term retention and address misconceptions.

I carefully scaffold learning to minimize cognitive overload, breaking complex concepts into manageable steps and adapting my teaching to each child's individual needs, learning pace and ability. Above all, I believe learning should be enjoyable! My lessons are interactive, encouraging and designed to inspire curiosity and a genuine love of learning.

Lessons are typically 60 minutes, providing sufficient time to revisit prior learning, introduce new concepts, practice skills and assess progress.
