About Mika

Graduate from The Bartlett School of architecture, finishing with First Class Honors (Bsc Architecture) and Distinction (MArch) and 10 years experience in the industry. I have worked in international practices in both Japan and Switzerland and have a wealth of knowledge and skills to share with aspiring architects. I am happy to work with students who would like support progressing their designs and portfolio narratives or need help with specific skills such as using the Adobe Suite.

About the lesson

I usually start with a free introductory in session in which we meet, clarify your goals and decide together what you’d like to focus on and the structure you would like the sessions to take.

The sessions can focus on any or all of the following:

REDNERING/VISUALISATION
I specialise in rendering, working with Rhino, Vray, Twin Motion, 3dsMax and Corona.

ADOBE SUITE
I can provide skills in Rhino, the Adobe Suite, Microstation, CAD and physical model-making.

DESIGN
I can support you in your design work, including helping you to develop a strong project narrative and advising on different media to best represent your ideas.

PORTFOLIO
We can work together to develop a strategy to make structured portfolio that has a strong visual narrative, has clarity and looks professional.
