About Muaaz

I completed the Dars-e-Niẓāmī curriculum in both the UK and at Jamia-tur-Rashid in Karachi, Pakistan, graduating with distinction, before continuing advanced studies in Istanbul and Cairo with scholars and lecturers connected to Al-Azhar University. I currently teach full-time at a boarding Dār al-ʿUlūm with high academic standards and have over three years of teaching experience.

About the lesson

I offer structured Arabic lessons for students of all ages and levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners. My teaching approach focuses on building genuine understanding and confidence in the language through clear explanation, gradual progression, and regular practice. Rather than relying purely on memorisation, I aim to help students understand how the language works so they can read, write, and engage with Arabic more naturally and independently.

Lessons can include reading, writing, speaking, grammar (naḥw), morphology (ṣarf), vocabulary building, comprehension, and classical Arabic, depending on the student’s goals. I also specialise in Qur’ānic and classical Arabic for students who wish to understand Islamic texts more deeply.

I adapt lessons according to each student’s ability and learning style, whether they are learning Arabic for personal interest, academic study, travel, religious understanding, or preparation for further Islamic studies. Lessons are typically 60 minutes long and are taught in a structured yet relaxed and supportive environment.
