About Melissa
I am lucky enough to have taught in many countries around the world. I love teaching and in particular the wonderful relationship with my students and their families. I have taught in classroom settings, as a tutor and in as an adventure camp leader in the jungle. I enjoy learning from children and getting to know them and adapting my teaching style to each individual students.
Outside of teaching, I love travelling and exploring the world. I will share my love of the Earth, and in particular the ocean, with my students to inspire a global mindset and bring the real world into our lessons.

Hello! I'm Melissa, a bubbly primary teacher with a specialty in maths originally from Cambridge.
I have taught in many schools both in England and around the world. I have spent the last few years teaching in a British International school in Indonesia. I have tutored children in all areas of the primary curriculum and been a private teacher for a travelling family. Previously, I have tutored students for maths GCSES as well as working with children with additional needs and those new to English.
I am known as a fun, smiley and energetic teacher with a wide range of skills across the curriculum. I enjoy making learning engaging for children and changing my teaching style to match how they best learn.
I know the English primary curriculum well and was working in management in my previous school. I have some knowledge of the maths GCSE curriculum.
