About Elisabeth

I am a fully qualified and highly experienced English teacher with over 20 years of success helping students reach their full potential. I have taught across all age ranges, from Primary through to GCSE, IGCSE, and A-Level, and have consistently supported students in achieving excellent academic results while building their confidence and enjoyment of the subject. My approach is warm, positive, and encouraging. I believe that learning should be accessible to everyone, and I work hard to tailor lessons to each student’s needs, strengths, and goals. Whether developing literacy skills in younger learners, refining analytical and essay-writing techniques for older students, or preparing for important exams, I create a supportive environment that helps students thrive. With a career in the Independent sector and a proven track record of outstanding results, I combine a deep subject knowledge with the ability to explain concepts clearly and inspire a genuine love for English. My aim is always to help students not only succeed in their studies, but also develop skills and confidence that will benefit them for life.

About the lesson

My teaching is rooted in the belief that every student can succeed when learning is made accessible, engaging, and relevant to their needs. I combine traditional teaching methods with creative, interactive activities to foster both subject mastery and a genuine enjoyment of English. Lessons are highly tailored to each student’s goals—whether that’s improving literacy at Primary level, building confidence at GCSE/IGCSE, or refining analytical and essay-writing skills at A-Level.
