About Sharlene

My name is Sharlene and I am from the Eastern Cape in South Africa.
I have a huge passion for teaching and really enjoy getting to know my students on a personal as well as academic level and also assisting students to reach their learning goals and full potential.
I am a hardworking and loyal person who is always willing to go the extra mile. My interests include reading, the outdoor life and sewing.
In the classroom the student is very important to me and I always put them first.

About the lesson

I am proficient in English as well as Afrikaans and can conduct lessons in both languages.
I have taught students of all ages, levels and backgrounds in English. I can teach students of all ages, primary school, high school as well as tertiary students.
Furthermore, I like to make use of games in the classroom setup, where students can gain practical experience, for example dialogues.
During my lessons I prefer interaction between myself and students and students participating in the lesson, and sharing what they know and also what they would like to know.
