About Hannah
I'm a parent of two, now grown-up, children, and I've loved teaching for 26 years. What I'm looking forward to most about one-to-one lessons is having the time and connection to really get to know you as a learner. I love sharing the moment when something new clicks and you feel confident using it for yourself. I adapt my resources to suit you, so every lesson is exactly right for where you are and where you want to be.

I'm a qualified primary teacher with 26 years' classroom experience, including specialist French teaching and SATs reading boosters. I designed and delivered online lessons to whole classes throughout lockdown, so I know how to keep children engaged on screen. My lessons are calm, structured and encouraging, with clear steps, plenty of practice and honest feedback. I build children's confidence and keep parents informed so you can see real progress. Book a trial lesson and see the difference.

Hi I first met Hannah when my children started school and then covid happened! Hannah taught the children online during this time and not only is she a fantastic teacher in the classroom she was brilliant online, engaging, helping the children and really making the work fun! I would highly recommend Hannah, all my children adore her.
I have known and taught alongside Hannah for over 15 years. She is an excellent French teacher who makes lessons clear, engaging and enjoyable. She explains grammar and pronunciation with patience and enthusiasm while encouraging confident conversation.
