About Zeyad
I am an engineering MSc student at the University of Calgary with 2 years of experience in the industry. I have been writing code since my undergraduate sophomore year, that is almost 6 years.
I did some research at a lab in Spain doing cancer research, then went on to work for a tech company based in San Francisco. My main experience lies in the data analytics and Artificial Intelligence fields.

I am a big believer that learning why we do things is more important than how. I emphasize the added value of learning the subject with practical industry applications. I tend to focus on visuals and developing a high level of understanding for the student then digging deeper into the nits and grits of how things work.
I plan my lessons but prefer to write examples from scratch to show students the thought process of writing code. I can teach you the fundamentals of programming if you are a high school student, an undergraduate student, or just looking to explore the field.
