About David
I got a H1 in my Leaving Cert in 2019 and went on to do an honors degree in Pure Mathematics at the University of Limerick. I loved this experience and it ignited my passion to tutor maths full time!
To date, my students have gotten really good results. Last year my students saw an average grade increase of 30% in just 15 sessions. The highest increase was 63% after just 16 sessions! References are available upon request.

I make the classes engaging by covering every topic from its first principles so that the students never feel too confused or overwhelmed. I have devised an order and manner of working through the course that I find works really well.
I use resources separate from the leaving cert books and go straight from these resources into exam papers. I find this works better as I have gone out of my way to find the best resources on each topic, take the sections that Irish students need and explain each of these from first principles. Once the students understand the concepts, the solutions to exam papers should make perfect sense and it doesn't take long from there until students are solving the exam questions themselves.
Most importantly I keep things moving at a pace that is fast but that the student feels comfortable with. The classes take on a relaxed feel for the most part as I think this is when students learn best.
