About Rylee

Hi, I'm Rylee! I am an Honors Psychology graduate, published researcher, and Criminology graduate based in Melbourne.

Throughout my studies and professional experience, I've developed a strong passion for helping others learn, grow, and achieve their goals. I understand that university can be challenging, and I enjoy supporting students to feel more confident and capable in their studies.

Students often describe me as approachable, patient, and easy to talk to. I strive to create a relaxed, judgment-free environment where questions are always welcome and learning feels less overwhelming.

My background in psychology has given me a strong understanding of communication, learning, and individual differences, allowing me to adapt my support to each student's unique needs. Whether you're aiming for higher grades, struggling with a particular subject, or simply looking for extra guidance, I'm committed to helping you succeed.

Outside of tutoring, I enjoy working in disability support, spending time with animals, and continuing to learn through professional development and research

About the lesson

My tutoring approach is supportive, collaborative, and tailored to each student's individual learning style. I aim to build confidence while helping students develop the skills needed to succeed independently. Rather than simply providing answers, I guide students through concepts, assignment requirements, academic writing, research skills, critical analysis, and effective study strategies.

I hold an Honours degree in Psychological Science, a Bachelor of Criminology, and my Honours thesis has been published. This background has provided me with extensive experience in academic writing, research methods, literature reviews, critical analysis, and university-level assessment standards.

Lessons are typically 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged for assignment support, exam preparation, or thesis work. Sessions can be conducted online Australia-wide or in person in Melbourne where suitable.

My lessons are best suited to university and TAFE students, particularly those studying Psychology, Criminology, social sciences, or students seeking support with academic writing, research, and assignment preparation. I also welcome mature-age students, students returning to study, and those who may benefit from a more flexible, person-centred learning approach.
