As a Navy veteran and life long writer and student. I publish a column about US History and current events. The ability to effectively communicate through written language is what separates the average person from the exceptional. I have applied writing to every aspect of every job I’ve held since adolescence. From instructing young children how to ice skate, to operating heavy equipment, and ultimately teaching English and nursing.

The importance of clarity and continuity in writing is paramount. Using literary devices and a little bit of alliteration can turn your dull paper into a colorful mental painting for your reader.
