Hello, I'm Dina O. Nasr, an Experienced Early Years Educator & Children's Book Author With over 14 years of experience in Early Years education, curriculum development, and teacher training, I specialize in play-based learning and phonics instruction. My journey in education started with my passion for helping young children develop a strong foundation in literacy, inspired by both my professional expertise and personal experience as a mother. I have worked with parents, educators, and schools across the UAE, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia, providing practical strategies to make learning engaging and effective. I have gone from feeling frustrated and worried when my own children struggled with reading at age 4 to developing engaging, play-based phonics strategies that helped them jump to Level 8 in just a few months. Now, as teenagers at 15 and 13, they are confident, fluent readers, and I want to empower other parents, caregivers, and educators to confidently teach phonics so they can give young children the strong literacy foundation they need to thrive.
I help parents, caregivers, and educators go from feeling lost and frustrated about teaching phonics to feeling confident and equipped with engaging, play-based strategies so that they can help young children develop strong early reading skills and a lifelong love for literacy.
