About Shenika

Around the age of 12, my first poem was published in a book for young writers of Canada. It was called "Under the Pumpkin Tree". Throughout my adolescent years, I kept writing and entering contests. It was fun to see my improvement after each contest. However, after high school, contests weren't enough, so I decided to write a book! I studied Creative Writing at Simon Fraser University in 2019 while taking other studies online. I became a certified herbalist and birth worker in 2021, shortly after, starting my health and wellness business. The publishing process is a long but very rewarding one. In a few months my poetry book will be ready to publish. Whether your goal is to expand your skills or get ready for publishing, I'll be able to help :)

About the lesson

The best way to get good at writing is to do it often. I focus on exploring the imagination, expanding self-expression, and building confidence as a writer with engaging and thought-provoking exercises.
*For writers who aspire to publication, want more emotionally *captivating writing, or want to start writing fiction.
For intermediate to advanced students, or students who are enrolled in creative writing or poetry classes
