About Chayan
I started debating in the 6th grade and, for reasons that seemed sensible at the time, decided to keep going. What followed was most of my school life spent on stage, arguing cases, structuring ideas, and learning how to make people listen (occasionally by merit).
Over the years, I’ve been part of 40+ Model United Nations conferences and secured 30+ wins across MUNs, parliamentary debates, and youth parliaments. I’ve also taken on leadership and adjudication roles as a Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Secretary General, and judge across multiple debating circuits. Along the way, I earned national recognition, including an All India Rank 2 at the CA Student National Talent Search and Best Paper Presenter at a national conference.
Beyond competing, I’ve trained 250+ students in public speaking and debating, covering formats such as MUN-style diplomacy, parliamentary debating, and Oxford-style debates.
Now, I focus on using the frameworks, strategies, and experience I’ve built over the years to help students become sharper thinkers and more effective speakers because good speaking, as it turns out, is mostly good thinking done out loud.

This course is built on years of being on stage, starting from the 6th grade and, quite consistently, staying there through most of high school. What began as an interest in debating gradually turned into sustained involvement across competitive public speaking, Model United Nations, and parliamentary debating circuits.
With experience spanning 40+ Model United Nations conferences and 30+ wins across debates, youth parliaments, and MUNs along with national-level recognition including an All India Rank 2 and Best Paper Presenter—this journey has been as much about learning structure and clarity as it has been about speaking itself. Along the way, roles have extended beyond competing to chairing committees, judging debates, and organizing large-scale conferences.
The course also draws from hands-on training experience with 250+ students, covering formats such as MUN-style diplomacy, parliamentary debating, and Oxford-style debates.
It is designed to translate these years of experience into practical frameworks, helping students learn how to think critically, structure arguments, and communicate with precision, rather than just speak for the sake of it.

Chayan is a trustworthy teacher because he has a lot of experience of teaching in this domain and has attended and judged numerous MUNs, parliamentary debates and extempore competition.
