About Jarrod
I am a public educator who has 18 years of experience in the classroom and as a school administrator. I have a bachelor's degree in youth ministry, a master of arts in teaching social studies, and a master of science in school leadership. I am currently working on my doctorate in religious studies. As I previously noted, I have experience teaching advanced placement courses in American history and world history, and I have seen my students exceed national averages on those tests. I have seen it all and experienced just about everything you can imagine, the good and the bad. I have dedicated my life to enriching the lives of others, to supporting them on their journeys. I not only have the professional skills, but I am a man who strives to bring out the best in others, to help them be the best version of themselves that they can be.

To begin with, I have a passion for teaching. Not just delivering information, but teaching how world events, past and current, shape our lives and the world around us. History is not just words on a page, nor is it a monolith that stands alone. It is to be ENGAGED with! I can teach you how to take the minimal amount of notes while focusing on the effects rather than just the data. I can prepare you to apply what you learn by having a deep and rich appreciation for what has happened in the past, what is happening currently, and how you can take what you learn and DO something with it! If you want to be prepared, if you want to be an informed and objective person who sees the world for what it is and does something about it, I am the man to help you do that.
