About Youssef
I am an accounting and audit professional currently working in public accounting in New York. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Auditing with honors and am currently completing the U.S. CPA exam process. I have passed both FAR and AUD and have completed my preparation for ISC.
I started helping classmates with accounting while I was in college and continued helping students and friends after graduation, especially with difficult accounting topics and exam preparation. I enjoy explaining concepts in a simple, practical way and helping students understand the logic behind accounting instead of just memorizing rules.
My professional experience includes audit, bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, financial reporting, and tax preparation, so I can connect what you learn in class with how accounting is actually used in the real world.

My lessons are practical, clear, and built around understanding the “why” behind accounting instead of memorizing rules. I break difficult topics into simple steps, work through examples with you, and then help you solve problems independently so the material actually sticks.
I can help with financial accounting, journal entries, adjusting entries, financial statements, reconciliations, and other core accounting topics. For CPA candidates, I also offer study strategy and exam-prep guidance based on my own experience passing FAR and AUD and completing my ISC preparation. We can work on study plans, MCQs, simulations, review strategy, and time management.
I can also help candidates understand the CPA journey itself, including education evaluation, state-board applications, eligibility, required documents, NTS, exam scheduling, and the general process from starting your application to exam day. My goal is to make accounting and the CPA process feel structured, manageable, and much less confusing.
