About Kendal
I am an experienced university psychology course tutor, having taught for 6 years and marked over 800 undergraduate psychology assignments. I also work as a psychology research assistant and have contributed to several academic publications.
I am currently in the final year of my PhD in Cognitive Psychology. I love all things psychology and research and am passionate about sharing my knowledge and helping students achieve their goals. I also have ADHD and have taught students with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and other learning differences, and adapt my tutoring methods to utilize students' unique strengths. My aim is to give students a learning experience that reduces stress and fosters confidence in their own abilities.

I tutor both high school and university level psychology. Lessons are 1-2 hours long and are tailored to individual students' needs. I prioritize teaching students how to study effectively so that they can benefit outside of lessons too.
I create resources specific to each student and their curriculum/course requirements, including study guides, practice exam questions, and fun activities like crosswords. Lessons can be spent reviewing and clarifying difficult concepts from class, developing learning skills like how to plan and write lab reports or essays, research skills, and how to get top marks on written exams. I can also help you plan and structure your assignments, and provide detailed written feedback on drafts.
