About Precious
Hi there, I'm Precious, a psychology student at Wilfrid Laurier University who just loves making a difference in the lives of many. I will be teaching English and grammar lessons, so whether you're good or struggling with grammar rules, essay writing, or understanding English in general, I am here to help you at your own pace of course.

As a psychology student at Wilfrid Laurier University with experience in public speaking, and educational programming, and use to give after school lessons to middle school kids for my co op, I bring a student-focused approach to tutoring English and grammar. And I know everyone is different, so I tailor my lessons to fit the student's individual needs and learning pace.
I make use of breaking down complex grammar into simpler relatable explanations. Also using real-life examples to improve understanding, participation and mini assessments and letting you give your two cents because I also could learn from you, and after those assessments I would give feedback back, and I would motivate you by encouraging you for better.
A Typical Lesson Plan would look like this
Check-in: Check in to see how you are doing and comfort level as well as discuss previous lesson.
Concept Focus: Introduction of a new grammar, reading skill or writing concept all while using examples.
Application & Practice: Use of exercises, or short essay-building activities.
Feedback: Student reflection and giving clear feedback. Creating clear goals for next time.
What sets me apart as a tutor is that first and foremost I am fun and I love to create an environment where everyone is able to speak their mind and grow, and I have worked with many students through mentoring, events, and school tours, so I know how to connect and make learning comfortable. I am also someone who makes difficult concepts easy to understand trough practical examples.
My Lessons are for Middle to high school students (Grades 6–12). Especially for students preparing for university transitions, university writing.
