About Gauri
Hi, I'm Gauri. I'm a third-year Psychology student in Delhi NCR, and teaching is something I genuinely enjoy, not just something I do on the side.
I know how frustrating it is to sit through a class and still not really get it. That's exactly what I try to fix. I ask a lot of questions during lessons, not to test you, but to figure out where the confusion actually is, so we can work on that instead of rushing through the syllabus.
A lot of what I teach comes from things I've actually done, not just studied. I was selected as a UN Millennium Fellow, where I designed and led a mental health project under the UN Academic Impact global initiative, and I've spent time in hospital settings observing how psychology works in real life. Explaining complex ideas simply, to people who aren't experts, is something I had to get good at through that work, and it's the same habit I bring into how I teach.
Every student is different, so I don't use one fixed method for everyone. Some people need more examples, some need more practice questions, and some just need someone to slow down and explain it again without judgment. I try to notice what you need and adjust.

I don't teach definitions, I teach the "why" behind them, so you actually understand instead of memorizing
Every class is built around questions. I ask them, you answer, and gaps show up before the exam does
I've worked inside real psychology settings, hospitals and a UN mental health project, so what I teach isn't theory I read, it's theory I've used
Board exams and college exams test differently. I teach accordingly, not with one script for everyone
