About Alysha
I am a UCF psychology major with a background in the arts and a passion for the English language. In 2015 I went on a trip to Thailand and discovered my love for teaching English when I was a guest teacher for two weeks at a school for novice monks aged 7-18. I absolutely loved getting to know the students and seeing how excited and enthusiastic they were to learn the language.

My teaching method is hands-on. For the younger children I introduced English through fun games and songs, then we build up to worksheets, oral and writing assignments and group projects. For the older students, I introduced English through pop culture references, music, and videos, then gradually worked into quizzes and group projects.
