About Emmah

I am a Psychology major and a Teaching Assistant to the assistant dean of the department. Mathematics is one of my favorite subjects and I find teaching it so much fun! I tutored kids throughout high school and I help my peers with their maths homework.

About the lesson

I approach my students with a calm and open mind. Different schools teach math in different ways, so I want to understand what the student knows and what learning methods they were taught. I take it one step and breath at a time. We go at the student's pace. If the student has difficulty understanding the problem, I will reword the problem differently or try to provide a visual, so that the student can better understand.
