Hello! My name is Wenzel, and I am a graduate student in Experimental Psychology with a 4.00 GPA. As a first-generation college student, I understand firsthand how challenging academic systems, standardized tests, and complex coursework can feel—especially without built-in guidance. This background has shaped my approach to tutoring: clear, supportive, and focused on helping students truly understand the material rather than simply memorize it.

I have strong training in psychology, research methods, and statistics, including hands-on experience using SPSS for data analysis, interpretation, and reporting. I help students with psychology coursework at the high school and college level, including research papers, understanding experimental design, statistics concepts, and navigating SPSS assignments step by step. I also tutor GRE verbal reasoning and ACT reading and English, focusing on strategy, reading comprehension, vocabulary in context, grammar, and test-taking skills. While I do not emphasize test scores, I specialize in teaching students how to approach questions, manage time, and build confidence—skills that often matter more than raw scores.

My tutoring style is patient, individualized, and collaborative. I work one-on-one with students to identify where they feel stuck, explain concepts in accessible language, and practice together until they feel confident working independently.
