About Stefi

I am a PhD researcher with teaching experience at an undergraduate level. I spent last semester teaching a module on statistics. As part of my PhD, I have undertaken a post graduate module in statistics and research methods, for which I received a mark of 80%. I also have an excellent understanding in other areas of psychology from my time studying it during my undergraduate degree and A level. My independent research project focuses on psychological fatigue.

I also hold a First Class BSc Honors degree in psychology with history. I also hold A levels in history, psychology and drama and 11 GCSEs including maths, English and science.

I am passionate about teaching and would approach any teaching job with a friendly attitude. As part of my university teacher training, I learnt about different learning styles and I would ensure that I taught my student with a style that would help them the most.

My work experience includes two years spent at the Civil Service as a Higher Executive Officer.

About the lesson

I am a PhD student who has experience and training in teaching at an undergraduate level.

My teaching style would depend on the learning style of the student (e.g. if they are more suited to a listening style of learning, I would ensure that I included plenty of verbal content in my lessons, if they are more visual, I would be sure to give them diagrams to support the concepts that I am teaching).

I have a friendly and empathetic style of teaching- we have all been in the position of not understanding something at one point, and I will aim to ensure that they gain a firm understanding of the topics that I teach.

I will also base lessons around helpful studying tips and help with exams/course work.
