About Tony
I am a PhD candidate in Occupational and Social Psychology, with a keen interest in research methodologies. My broad range of interests is mirrored in my diverse research experiences. I have published research, a scoping review, on Asexuality and completed my master's thesis on maternal health behaviours.
Upholding the scientific integrity of all academic works is a passion of mine, and I find great fulfilment in playing a role in the development of the next generation of researchers. I immensely enjoy interacting with students and peers, and I'm excited to contribute to the academic community by enhancing your learning journey.

Psychology PhD candidate at the University of Limerick (2023-2027), Master's degree in Public Health (2023), and BA in Applied Psychology (2021) both from the University College of Cork.
I am interested in assisting undergraduate psychology students with understanding key research designs and analysis (statistical and qualitative), especially related to their final-year projects or undergraduate theses.
Currently serving as a teaching assistant at the University of Limerick for first-year Psychology and Arts students in the module "Psychology and everyday life," I have substantial experience advising undergraduates on their research designs, both qualitative and quantitative. My expertise also includes psychometric evaluation and systematic reviews.
In structuring the teaching sessions, I propose an initial brief communication to discuss the topic and specific areas students want to enhance their skills. This allows me adequate time to prepare and ensures our sessions are highly productive.
