My approach to tutoring is supportive, patient and tailored to each student. I take the time to understand how a student learns best and adapt my teaching style to suit their individual needs, strengths and goals.
I focus on breaking down difficult concepts into simple, manageable steps and use clear explanations, examples, practice questions and discussion to help students develop genuine understanding rather than simply memorising information. I also encourage students to build confidence, independence and effective study habits.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, although this can be adapted depending on the student's age, level and needs.
I have a Bachelor of Psychological Sciences with Honours in Psychology and experience supporting students through tutoring and learning-focused roles. My psychology background also gives me a strong understanding of learning, motivation and individual differences.
