About Luke Dominic
Hello, potential tutee. My name is Luke. After successfully completing my Honors in Psychology in 2022, I went on to register as a Specialist Wellness Counselor with the ASCHP in 2023. After a year as a counselor in independent practice, I decided to take on the challenge of completing a TEFL course. After 3 months with The TEFL Academy, I was awarded a Level 5 TEFL certificate. This qualification allows me to teach English abroad as a foreign language to students from beginner levels through to more proficient English language levels. As a counselor, I am equipped with a great deal of patience and empathy to teach students from any background in a way that is best suited to the individual before me.

As a counsellor, I understand that individuals are unique. As such, it is important to tailor ones approach to teaching in order to get the best out of each individual. I strive to bring an energetic approach to teaching to maintain student engagement throughout the lesson.
As an English Language tutor I am prepared and able to assist individuals from primary school through high school. I am also fluent in the Afrikaans language, however my primary focus is English Language teaching and tutoring.
