I’m very grateful and happy to have found someone who would work with me patiently and articulate the material in a way I can understand! I’m neurodivergent and was withdrawn from traditional school at age 12, so I’ve often found myself to have a tricky way of learning, paying attention, and understanding material in traditional academic settings. Despite all of this, I didn’t find myself overwhelmed even by what I and many of my fellow Psych students consider to be a deeply difficult subject. I’ve been in a really rough spot, concerned that I would fail the class.
