About Hope
At The Ohio State University I majored in Psychology with a Neuroscience focus, and minored in Health and Society and Cognitive Science. Since graduating I have worked as a Content Coordinator creating medical curriculum within the realm of Psychology, Neuroscience, and Health and Wellness.
I am someone who is very passionate about the brain, and because of this I have devoted all my learning and my career to it. I am passionate about aiding in others learning about the same concepts I love so dearly.

Learning is individual and unique. The way you are taught and the study techniques you use should reflect the way in which you learn best. I would first assess your learning style, then utilize differing techniques to help you retain the information you are learning most effectively.
Examples of differing study techniques would include: Color coding, flash cards, mapping, grouping, verbal recitation, picture matching, diagram creation, etc.
Once we've established the best way to learn/study for you specifically, we can move onto content. My approach would be to focus on the things that do not come easily to you, and tie them back to concepts you do understand. I focus on "bigger picture" learning, rather than tediously memorizing or regurgitating information.
My lessons are directed toward high-school or freshman/sophomore college students who are taking their into psychology or sociology classes.
