About Ntobeko

Hello, and welcome! I'm thrilled to be part of your academic journey. I am a recent BA Psychology graduate from the University of Johannesburg (2024), so I understand firsthand the challenges, pressures, and rewards of navigating an undergraduate degree. My background equips me with the empathy and insight to support you effectively through your studies.

My teaching approach is rooted in both my academic and personal experiences. I've not only excelled in my own studies—earning distinctions in subjects like Psychology and Philosophy—but I've also been where you are, feeling the pressures of exams, assignments, and deadlines. Additionally, I have personal experience with therapy for my own mental health journey, which has deepened my understanding of psychological concepts in a meaningful way.

Beyond academics, I have a strong foundation in community service. I've volunteered with the South African Depression and Anxiety Group (SADAG) and have participated in outreach programs at schools, hospitals, and other community spaces. These experiences have shaped my ability to engage with people compassionately and professionally.

I strive to tailor each session to your unique needs, focusing on practical applications and clarity. I’m fluent in English, Afrikaans, and Zulu, so we can work together in whichever language you’re most comfortable with.
