About Lauren
I want to teach as I am passionate about education and have worked in education since graduating from University.
In my previous roles I have seen the benefit in my students from having individual support and would like to give more students the skills and confidence to excel in subjects they have previously found difficult.
I like to make my lessons fun and engaging so students don't feel like they are learning but rather enjoy their time and feel proud of what they accomplished.

I believe students learn best when lessons are engaging and fun. I use a variety of methods to encourage learning including visuals and multiple explanations before allowing independent practice.
I ensure my lessons are engaging for students and encourage passion for their subject as well as allowing students time to practice and develop their skills.
My lessons are typically an hour long.
I have experience working as a TeachingAssistant in a Highschool and am currently an Assistant Educational Psychologist, so am up to date with succcessful teaching and learning practices.
I can teach primary students up to GCSE and Alevel in Psychology and can adapt for the individual needs and levels of the students.
