About Lila
Hi, I’m Lila! I’m a psychology graduate and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with a passion for helping others understand themselves and grow with confidence.
I have experience working directly with children and individuals using evidence-based behavioral strategies, and I’ve also spent the past few years teaching in online settings. Through both roles, I’ve developed a strong ability to break down complex ideas into simple, engaging, and practical lessons that actually make sense in real life.
My background in psychology, combined with my hands-on experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), allows me to go beyond textbook knowledge. I focus on helping students understand behavior, mindset, and emotions in a way that feels relevant, empowering, and easy to apply.
I’m known for being patient, supportive, and easy to talk to. I create a comfortable, judgment-free space where students feel safe asking questions and exploring new ideas. At the same time, I take my work seriously and come prepared with structured lessons tailored to each student’s needs and goals.
Whether you’re studying psychology for school or simply want to better understand yourself and others, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

I take a supportive, real-life approach to teaching psychology, focusing on helping students actually understand themselves—not just memorize concepts. As a psychology graduate and Registered Behavior Technician, I use evidence-based strategies from Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to break down complex ideas into simple, practical skills that students can use in everyday life.
My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and interactive. I like to ask questions, use relatable examples, and guide students to make their own connections so the material truly sticks. I also adjust my approach depending on each student’s learning style, whether that means more discussion, visuals, or structured guidance.
A typical lesson usually starts with a quick check-in and review, followed by introducing one main concept (such as behavior, mindset, emotions, or habits). We then explore that concept through real-life examples, short activities, or guided discussion. I like to include reflection questions or small exercises so students can apply what they’ve learned right away. We end with a recap and a simple takeaway they can use outside of the lesson.
What sets me apart is that I don’t just teach psychology as a subject—I teach it as a life tool. My background working directly with individuals using behavioral techniques allows me to help students build emotional awareness, confidence, and practical skills, not just academic knowledge. I also create a safe, non-judgmental space where students feel comfortable asking questions and being themselves.
My lessons are ideal for middle school, high school, and beginner-level college students, as well as anyone interested in understanding behavior, mindset, and emotional regulation. This includes students taking psychology courses, as well as those who simply want to improve their confidence, habits, and self-awareness.

I’ve improved so much in my pronunciation and vocabulary since starting with her, and I actually look forward to every class. She truly cares about her students and wants to see them succeed.
I highly recommend Lila to anyone who wants a supportive and effective English teacher! As a parent, I am so grateful that my child had the opportunity to learn from Lila. From the very first lesson, it was clear that she brings not only strong knowledge of psychology, but also a genuine passion for helping children understand themselves and the world around them.
What stood out most to me was her ability to make complex emotional and psychological concepts feel simple, relatable, and engaging. My child felt comfortable, heard, and excited to participate—something that isn’t always easy to achieve, especially in an online setting.
Lila creates a warm and supportive environment where kids feel safe to express their thoughts and emotions. I’ve noticed my child becoming more self-aware, better at communicating feelings, and more confident overall since taking her lessons. These are skills that go far beyond the classroom and truly matter in everyday life.
She is patient, encouraging, and incredibly thoughtful in the way she teaches. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about each student’s growth and well-being.
I highly recommend Lila to any parent looking for a meaningful, engaging, and impactful learning experience for their child. Her lessons are not only educational—they are empowering.View more recommendations
