About Noon
Hi, I'm Noon! I currently teach at a private school in Austin, where I teach science, math, English language arts, and social studies. I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Arabic, and I'm completing my master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Because I study how people learn, I pay close attention to how each student thinks and adjust my explanations until things click. I'm patient, organized, and encouraging, and I want every student to feel confident asking questions. My goal is to make science clear and enjoyable.

My science lessons are for students from elementary school through high school. For younger students, we explore life science, earth science, and basic physical science through hands-on examples. In middle and high school, I help with general science, introductory biology, the scientific method, lab reports, and getting ready for tests and quizzes. I start by finding out where your child gets stuck, then build each session around those gaps. A typical lesson begins with a quick review, moves into the new concept using diagrams and real-world examples, then practice questions we work through together, and ends with a short recap. I'll also teach study habits, like note-taking and breaking down hard material. My goal is to help students understand science, not just memorize it.
