About Joelene

I'm passionate about psychology and criminal justice because I want to help others heal from trauma and navigate difficult situations. Originally, I wanted to be a kindergarten teacher, but I realized I could make a bigger impact as a therapist or victim advocate. My favorite psychology class was Psychology and Law, which beautifully illustrated how trauma can affect individuals and sometimes lead to criminal behavior. As a future victim advocate, I hope to guide people through their trauma and empower them to overcome challenging circumstances. Outside of academics, I enjoy knitting, reading, and babysitting.

About the lesson

I have graduated with a Psychology Degree. I simplify psychology for high school/college students. I connect concepts to real-world examples, focusing on understanding, not memorization. Lessons cover key theories, study skills, and career paths. I am now working on a Criminal Justice degree and will graduate in 2027
