About Iain
I finished A-level psychology in 2015 with an A and a deep love of the subject. I went to the University of Southampton, attained a first in my undergrad and then went on to study health psychology at masters level. I really enjoyed statistics and research methods, and so took an advanced statistics course in this time tutoring my classmates in between lectures. I got a distinction on my masters and was able to publish my thesis, but realised I wanted to help people more directly. I started working at an SEN school during the week, helping kids develop social-emotional skills and worked as a lecturer for undergrads doing a foundation year at the weekend. After a year I started training as a therapist. I love the work, especially the process of helping people understand themselves and the world better, and helping them achieve what they want to achieve.

I have an undergraduate and postgraduate degree in psychology, along with published research and PGC in applied psychology within CBT.
I also have a history working with all range of students. From secondary school to undergraduate, mainstream and SEN.
I will meet you where you are, and with what goals you have. I can help with anything; developing a deep rich understanding, or simply passing a test. I will help you achieve whatever you want to achieve.

Perfect! Iain is probably the most enthusiastic tutor I have ever met! Not that he's a big extrovert but because he LOVES Psychology! I have seen Iains face light up when I grasped a tricky or pivotal concept. He is affirming and amiable and Iain knows his stuff! 10 out of 10 always!
