About Sharna
Hello, I’m Sharna.
I have an undergraduate degree in Social Psychology and Criminology, with a particular focus on child development, psychopathology, and human behaviour. I have always been fascinated by what influences the way people think, feel, and interact with the world around them, which is what initially drew me to Psychology and Sociology.
I enjoy helping students develop confidence in their understanding of these subjects and supporting them as they navigate complex theories, research, and academic writing. I understand that subjects such as Psychology and Sociology can sometimes feel overwhelming, so I aim to break concepts down into clear, engaging, and relatable explanations.
My teaching style is friendly, patient, and supportive. I believe that students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions and exploring ideas without fear of getting things wrong. My goal is not only to help students achieve their academic objectives but also to develop their confidence, critical thinking skills, and enjoyment of learning.
